Oh I forgot to tell ya'll, our mountain made the news yesterday. We are the Talking Rock properties where that crazy guy was threating people with a gun and about 30 rounds of clips. Then when they called the cops on him and the police took him to jail some of the neighbors were up by his house and found 3 bombs so the police came back up and set them off back in the woods and then searched the woods for more bombs. But they have a neighborhood watch up here with a bunch of older men on it and they call themselves the rock posse (it is more like a bunch of old men that want to be cowboys, they run around the mountain with guns acting tough) anyhow one of them got on the news saying "We are God-fearing, gun toting, red blooded Americans and we are going to protect this mountain and we have some more boys we are going to put off this mountain". He made us all sound like a country bumpkin. Most of us DON'T tote guns and are just normal families. But it was weird having the police and news crews out here for a couple of days. I mean nothing ever happens out here usually. Plus we had a 17 year old drown in the lake at the bottom of the mountain Sunday afternoon, that was terrible cause he was just so young.
