I had an unfrugal morning and it will continue to be so. I had hired a babysitter to watch Luke while I did carnival food prep (no place in that kitchen for a 3 year old). So I was going to be out $12 a day for 3 days of this....I was there half an hour and I sliced the tip of my finger
I wound up being driven home with orders to go to the ER; my neighbor took Luke and the babysitter drove me to the ER! I had to pay her 3 hours instead of 2
plus there will be that ER bill coming....I am ok now but I doubt they will let me near a knife again
And tonight we have to take the kids to the carnival and watch our money blow away in the wind....I hate carnivals....I'd rather just write a check to the school.
On the upside, I got to see firsthand what a wonderful school nurse we have.
