Carol, did you check out Walmart for pants? I just found some black knit slacks on clearance for $5.00. I've got to go back and get me a pair for job interviews. I bought a shirt for $3.00, really cute, with buttons as flowers, but dressy enough for most business interviews around here. Ugh, I hate the thoughts of interviewing again. The nice part about this job, was my second time back, I didn't have to interview. My boss wanted me to come back. He had called me several times during the year I was at the other job to see if I was interested. I think that his job got cut about an hour before mine. I was not allowed to say goodbye to anyone, just clean out my office and get out quickly.
Frugal today? Not much, bought a new slow cooker, but dh and I have decided that we need one for mostly Sunday dinners. We have church from 1 - 4 p.m. and then choir practice at 4:45, so we are planning on putting dinner in the cooker before church, then it will be ready when we get home, before choir practice. Now, just need to find some good crockpot meals.
Good deal on the candles, Carol. Free is always good. Keep in touch and if you get time on your trip to Las Vegas, maybe we can get together. I would love to take you to see my sister.
