Thanks all for your support.. And yes, Julia is relieved to know that we weren't singled out in any biased way, And I am relieved by this also, as it is happening in communities all around us.

As it turns out the suspect ( 25 yrs old) who was the driver, has now retained a lawer, and is discussing the possibility of financial restitution with the more than one dozen families whose homes he vandalized. My car was also somewhat damaged ( scratches to the paint when he threw the tree ), and my husband injured his foot while chasing these guys - (even though off-duty at the time, it's still an injury suffered by a police officer associated with the commission of a crime) ..H's going to looses a few days of work, but no bones are broken.. just a badly bruised foot.

All in all.. Very bad judgement on the part of some very immature males.

We however hope they will learn a different definition of "fun on a Saturfay night" .. and not make the same mistakes again.
