My favorites are: St Louis - Union Station & the Riverfront (arch),
or Memphis - Mud Island.
Both cities were enjoyable and had facinating sites.
I enjoyed the quisine at Union Station, the arch was different and interesting.
Mud Island has a topical model of the Mississippi River (with river water) running right through the middle of the island. It also has a museum and resturant.
Chicago's Navy Pier also - we always go to Nick's Last Resort (not for the faint-hearted or kids)
