Houston where I grew up!!!
I used to spend numerous hours "hanging out at the Galleria" skating, eating pizza and getting in alot of trouble with security BUT [B] I have matured since those years![B] LOL
I loved Herman park and the park zoo....Fun City was another teen hangout. Now I think I would enjoy the zoo, Galveston, the taco shops, showing my kids where I grew up and attended school, showing them where Maggy was born, the dome (which Abear told me is not used much any more
), the Astro arena, Astroworld, and wow... so many other places. Oh the skyline at night is breath taking
Baltimore's Inner harbor is great too. Have great memories of a school field trip with Maggy.
Washington DC has great places. My kids ALL want to return to the Holocoust museum now that they are older. The monuments are great, PLANET HOLLYWOOD ( what can I say we splurged) , and alot of other places. We have gone a couple times but I want to go back. We have gone into the FBI building, FORD theater, the WHITE HOUSE and visited the monuments. I want to go back and take the kids to the mint and other different places.
Two places I REALLY REALLY want to go are...
New York City... to Ellis Island and imagine what early America was like and
back to Philadelphia to see it in a whole new way. After reading quite a few historical fiction books I want to go exploring our rich heritage
