WOW! I missed a few short days and had to read several pages
to get caught up and the new smilies! WOW! They are adorable! However, for some STRANGE reason, this block I'm typing in is teeny tiney - like about 4 inches square or something.
Well, we started schooling sort of several weeks ago, just enough to make sure they remembered how to hold a pencil and do some writing.
We actually did Math and Language Arts yesterday and will continue those this week. I hope to start history next week - I'm waiting on a couple of books to come in that I won on Ebay.
It's great to see everyone posting and I can't remember nearly everything I read this morning.

Joyce, you really are a rock to all of us and I haven't ordered Angel Food since April. I enjoyed it and have finally used everything except a bag of that pre-fried chicken out of my freezer. I just decided there were too many things we either didn't use or didn't need to use out of the boxes and so I've just been really careful with my grocery shopping. Although this next couple of weeks is going to be a joy.
I think I have $20 for groceries to get us through until the next payday on the 16th.
Oh, well. I guess we'll manage somehow. It may be beans and rice all next week with a little cornbread here and there.
It was great to read everyone's posts but it's 9:30 so I'm an hour late waking up my kids because I was so engrossed in reading.
