Mouse, you hit the nail on the head EXACTLY. Before I medicated Grey he would get sooo frustrated trying to read. It got to the point where I would sit him at the dining room table, no radio on, no noise from the computers, total and utter silence to get him to read even a sentence. It never occurred to me that there were too many voices in his head, that it wasn't just OUTSIDE noise that was getting to him, but inside noise as well. Now, with the Adderall, he's WANTING to read. I'm thrilled to pieces, since Mike and I are HUGE readers, and come from very long lines of readers.

ANYway... I'm about ready to with the joy of it. I swear that there's nothing like watching your child develop a (sustained) interest in something to make your day complete...

Cassie, that's interesting about your 7 year old. Grey won't TOUCH fish sticks, or almost anything processed. He wants the real goods. What an oddball... Cheeseburgers seem to be the only exception to that rule. He ADORES cheeseburgers. Any time, any place, anywhere.
