Each and everyone of you have been so kind and your greetings have been very warm and heartfelt.

It is good to feel like I am back home again and to know that you are welcomed no matter what.

To Alida: You asked if I believed in miracles?
Yes, I do. In fact, God has filled my life with miracles that cannot be denied because I was a witness to everyone of them that occured in my family. These miracles occured during the illness and eventual death of my dad, all the way through to the births of my grandchildren who I was priviledged to witness. There is something to be said about seeing the look on your childrens faces when they gaze upon the face of thier first child. I remember the tears in my daughters eyes when her son was born and she looked up at me and said "Look mom, I'm a mom too." We all cried together. I also remember witnessing the death of my dad, but again I felt priviledged to be there with him. My dad was bedridden from cancer and emphysemia so my mom had to take care of him. He wanted to die at home with his family around him and he did not want to suffer, which he did not. My dad used to always ask me in this begging like voice when was God going to let him die and I always reminded him that God will not let him die until God was ready for him. I put it to him this way:
It is like being in a Bakers Shop where you have to take a number before you can purchase the items you like. When they call your number, then you can go up to the counter where the baker will take your order. I told my dad that God was like that Baker, He was not going to let my dad up to that counter until his number was called. My dad used to always laugh at me when I would tell him that story and felt better. Just after my dad took his last breath, I told my dad "Dad, God has now called your number and you can go home". So,Yes I believe in Miracles and I feel as if my life has been full of miracles and blessings and I thank God for them. In fact there are alot more miracles then what I even mentioned here, enought to write a book about.

To RedCardinalBird:
My daughter and her husband, Kevin actually live in Shelbyville, KY but go to First Baptist church in Simpsonville, KY where Kevin is the Youth Pastor. He is attending the Baptist Seminary just outside of Louisville and all I can tell you is that it is across from the Presbyterian Seminary and that I was seriously lost when our son-in-law took us over there to show us. lol
Well, I hope that I have answered all of your questions and I would again like to say thank you for your warm greetings and look forward to getting to know all of you. Take care and God Bless

You All.
Hugs,
