I was doing good on my diet before Mom came. Now I am cooking things I know she likes like pasta & potatoes. She tasted for the first time papaya fruit which is one of my favorites. It is also very healthy for digestion especially in older people. I did have my own tree but last year a frost killed it. They are expensive but worth it. Will try planting some seeds again in a flower pot. Once they start growing they really take off. Tonight we had homemade whole wheat bread toasted with a slice of soy cheddar cheese for a night time snack. It was better than a piece of cake.
I do enjoy cooking since Mom & Dh appreciate it.
