Make up has become terribly expensive...

I use only Clinique or Chanel...
I just bought a lipstick, Lancome, Code Red... $21.00 with tax...
Most of what I wear goes with that color...

I don't use cheap makeup.. it's bad for your skin, and since my skin is sensitive, I will buy the better cosmetic.

Clinque and Chanel are the only 2 that have my shade...I've tried others and it's not the same... I buy when they have special give aways.....One bout with cheap cosmetics cost me more at the Doctor's office than if I had purchased the more expensive.....

My DH likes the natural look.. so I just use a little lipstick at times...and maybe a little mascara...most of the time.

May I make a suggestion? The next time you are in a department store, or call ahead,.....get a free makeover by one of the cosmetic companies... not only do you get a free makeover, they will show you how to apply it, and the eye products and glosses..
in hopes that you will buy their products.. just say ..I have to walk around a bit to get use to it.... I'll be back..... You don't have to buy all the products... but if you like what they did...then buy one item.... then next time, something else..

Another suggestion is to find out where they are having a Mary Kay party.... I can't use their make up.. but you can watch them do makeovers... another learning experience. ...
