I agree that bad makeup is worse than no makeup....
I also liked the idea of haveing someone show you how to do this in person. I would caution to to 'watch' the counter before you make an appointment to see how they do it if you go to a store. I have heard horror stories of the store/counter reuseing samples and applicatiors- not sanitary in the least.
