Hey, everybody...like Martie said, it's nice to see so many back posting again.

Martie, I think Linnea is right...you've turned the fat into muscle. Now you've probably reached that dreaded *plateau,* and it may be harder to lose...slower. Hang in there, we're all behind you, and very proud of you. What kind of cookbook are you typing?

Mouse, I passed College level English with A's and B+'s...if I can be of any help with the homework, let me know. I have a feeling that you won't need it, tho...you'll ace this class, too, I bet. Dr. and darlin' Daniel worked me over GOOD today, and for the first time in three weeks, I haven't taken any Ibuprofen since I got up this AM, around 8:30am! It had been a month since my last adjustment, and I needed it badly. This coming Friday I have my first appointment with a Pain Management clinic...I give up...I need meds, period. Dr. Pham didn't hesitate when I asked him to refer me...he even made the phone call for me right then and there. I just hope they aren't too expensive for me, my little piece of BlueCross/BlueShield doesn't do a whole lot of good.

Lianna, I did indeed miss you, and I'm glad you're back. Do your parents like their new house? How are you feeling these days?

Pag, so good to see you...glad you got a new dryer. I'd rather have to replace a dryer than the washing machine, I think. I can always do a hand laundry in the sink, but it's sooooo hard to dry things that are hand-washed...I never can get them wrung out well, and then they have to be hung on a line...ugh. The diverticulosis/colitis is treatable with meds, isn't it? I sure hope so...doesn't eating pizza aggravate it? Hope the weather holds good and you get to go to the fellowship in Norfolk.

The grandkids FINALLY made it over here to get their Christmas...dad picked up a Sara Lee chocolate pie for dessert...yum. I made a ground turkey gravy, rice, and turnip greens...there wasn't anything left, ta-da. The kids were pleased with their Christmas, but even with the parents here, they were still really rotten monstrers, sigh.

I hope to get started on my little craft work area in my bedroom tomorrow. E. found a couple small chests of drawers out by the dumpster...did I already tell y'all this, lol?...and they're stacked in the living room...look almost like one solid piece, too....and will give me five more drawers for storage. That, my friends, is an excellent thing. Hopefully I can get him to cut the plywood for the table top over the week-end...we'll see.

Guess it's time to go read, have a late snack, and then head for bed. Saturday and Sunday are my last two of my four days off, no kids, no plans, and I intend to enjoy them!!!! God bless.
