Miniature Candy Canes--Makes 24

Material Needed

72--12mm Sunbrust Beads-Emerald

96--12mm Sunbrust Beads-Ruby

288--12mm Sunbrust Beats--Crystal

8--12" Chenille Stems

8 --1mm Braid

Tools Needed:


Scissors, wire cutters, long needle nose pliers

1--Cut Chenille into 3 4" sections.

2--With needle nose pilar make a hook on 1 end of each one.

3--Cut 12" of Braid.

4-- Put 1 12mm Crystal bead on and bring it to the center of Braid.

5--Tie Braid off at top.

6--Put Sunbrust Beads on to chenille to hook end as follows: 1 Ruby, 2 Crystal, 1 Emerald, 2 Crystal, 1 Ruby, 2 Crystal, 1 Emerald, 2 Crystal, 1 Ruby, Now put the Crystal that is on the Braid on with 1 more, 1 Emerald, 2 Crystal, 1 Ruby. Make sure they are all nestled together.

7--Bend top of Cane.

8--Chenille to 1/4" from last Sunbrust.

9--Take Needle nose and twist Chenille down toward bead.

PS You can also make these big by just cutting chenille in half but remember the braid one is always the 6 bead from the last.
