I woke up ill this morning--have what the dgks had (Stomach bug). HOWEVER it's still my middle dd's birthday and we've decided long ago that her birthdays are jinxed since she's rarely had a good one, I went to get her cake in Rocky Mount with her at a wonderful little bakery there. We shopped at Harris Teeter while we waited on the cake and found chicken breasts for .49/lb!!
I wound up buying 11 packages--meant to get 10 but miscounted. :p The meat guy told us that once this overshipment is gone they will raise the price back to a
$2.79/lb. I normally only buy boneless but for this price I was not walking away empty handed.
I just took a nap and ate a bite. I'm already regretting that part.
