Jayne - I did tellher I did not have my card and she told me to put my phone # in, it would not accept my # nor my mom's. She told me to get another card but line at service desk was long plus it would mess my totals up for boxtops etc.
Columbus Day - our kids did not get out of school, and the state and local govt workers here had to work. Only the feds got out.
We celebrate Halloween. I do not let the kids dress up as devils or real scary figures. We do let them go to some of the neighbors that we know. I have also taught them not to go to the houses that do not have lights on. I also learned that All Hallows Eve was to scare the bad spirits away. The following day is known as All soul's day.
