| When my dd was 2 1/2
She did ballet and all they did though was blow bubbles instead of dance and it was $75 for a 20 wk session. So, I put her into Gymnastics which was $75 for a 40 wk session. Then I had to pay for her to take Tap while in preschool too age 3 and buy the shoes.
Then she was in Karate at 3 1/2 to 4 yrs old and that was about $40 a month but dd was too young and distracted. Then she didn't do anything at 4 to 5. But, then when she was 5 to 6 she did t-ball ($15 for the whole season) and had alot of talent but we couldn't get to her games because at the time we had no car. So, at 6 she did t-ball again and then t-ball here in Pueblo which was also $15.
I agree, I like to keep dd active. It gives her something to look forward too and she isn't just sitting at home watching t.v.]
Well, I went into the Dollar Store-(OOH I found a real dollar store that actually has things for a $1-can you imagine, a dollar store offering items for a dollar-LOL!!!)-but this was the Family Dollar so things were higher, but I hit their clearance section. They had two wooden shelves for $3 each and a cookie pan for $2. I am also about to load up on Pepsi, 2-liters for .67 cents at the Grocery Warehouse.
Oh, I also got a nice sized watermelon for $2. The guy originally was charging $3 but gave me $1. They had some red chilies he was trying to pawn off for $10 for the box but fruit flies were all around it. I know I'm not from here but I am pretty darn sure that's not a good sign-LOL!!!
So, off to mail off letters, pick up dd, grab up soda and maybe a quick meal...if it's on sale!
