My frugal thing today is to stay home with the poor Chicken Pox covered 4 yr old dd. Not so frugal as I'm missing a day of work but I knew I should stay home today, just to monitor the "spots" and make sure she doesn't run a temp or anything. It looks like a relatively mild case. My babysitter talked to the rest of the mom's of the kids she watches and they all said go ahead and take her, the kids have already been exposed. So...Alyssa will go back to the sitter tomorrow, armed with Caladryl Lotion and Aveeno oatmeal bath!!!
I picked up disgarded clothes from my friend yesterday and came out with a lot of "new" outfits for me for work, and for running around the house! She also had a bag full of hair conditioners that had been sitting in her house for months and never used, perfume rarely used, cologne for the 16 yr old ds! Other than the chicken pox, yesterday was just another wonderful day.
As I'm home today I'll be checking in often. Maybe I'll get the rest of my baby afghan finished today for a present for a girl at work??? I hope so.
