when I heard about John Ritter. I had to hear it several times before I actually believed it! At first, I kept thinking that they must be talking about his Dad, Tex, and just getting the names mixed up. (although I was sure his Dad had already passed away) So sad to have lost him so young. I also feel so sad for his daughter. To have lost her Daddy on her 5th birthday will surely sadden her birthday for many, many years to come.
TVLand is doing a tribute to John Ritter today. Right now the episode of Mary Tyler Moore is on in which he played the minister that marries Ted & Georgette.
To be honest, I wasn't really that shocked over Johnny Cash's death. It saddened me deeply but I wasn't
. When June passed away, I told my Dad, (A HUGE Johnny Cash fan) that I didn't think Johnny would stick around long without his beloved June. And, sadly, he didn't.
We've lost some "good ones" this year...Bob Hope, Maurice Gibb and now Johnny Cash & John Ritter......I'm sure that I am having a brain "burp" and forgetting someone........
