Handling Jelapenos & Habaneros

First of all, always use plastic gloves. If you don't have them, use plastic grocery bags. Just put your hand in and have someone knot it for you on each hand.

For contact w/them. Wash your hands with vinegar. I too got them in my "soft contact lenses". Rinse contacts in vinegar, then water. It really does work.

Another tip: When cutting up onions, use ski goggles. You may look funny but they do stop your eyes from watering.:p
