Leasmom it has been busy here as always but I did want to pop in and say good job on the b'day party! It sounds as if your dd had a great time. It has taken me a long time to realize that more isn't necessarily better too. I've actually learned this for my odest dd's ex-m-i-l. That woman would go berserk buying toys, clothes, videos, you name it for my oldest dgd. (Yet she has never bought for the dgs! :mad: ) Alexis literally has enough toys to open a toy store and videos to watch every day for a year then some yet she has no connection to this other grandmother who only pops up when convenient and then tries to buy her. It's sad. NOW this other g'mother is divorcing and has no money but she still doesn't reach out to them. THINGS aren't what kids need!
