This is what I did today:

Paid most of my bills, got money orders for the rest. Got stamps to mail in the rest-(I haven't gotten a bank account yet in this new city, didn't even think about it. Especially with the amount of money I get, it would be a waste of $10 a month-LOL!!!).

Picked up dd's t.v. that was broken. Only cost $25 to fix it. Good deal, shopped around and found the best price.

Picked up dd from school and dropped her off at Boys and Girls Club.

Paid for dd's Zoo cake-$18 and paid for Zoo tickets for dd's birthday on Monday-$14.

Bought a few items for dd's lunch next week-$13: Bananas-.49 cents, bag of cauliflower, carrots, celery sticks, and brocolli, already cut up and ready to go-$2.50. Cucumbers-$2 for $1-(not a great deal but dd likes them). Tortillas-12 in a pack for .99 cents, Bread for .59 cents, little cinnamon donuts for .99 cents off the day old rack-(dated for today). Bulk can of Apple Sauce-$3.99.

Went to Arc-(like Goodwill)-bought 3 muffin tins for $2.99. Got a great laundry basket with two separate compartments for $5.99-brand-new. Got loaf tin for $1.19-(not extemely cheap but Arc is a little more expensive but they have a better selection than Goodwill). Got dd a thermal-theramist? whatever...drink thingy for .99 cents. Got a number 7 candle for .99 cents. It's normally $1.20 and more at the store.

Went to Kmart and got dd 10 packs of undies for $7.99. They sale was for 6 packs for $3.99 but figured it was better to get 10 than 6. Got the Buy one get one half off socks for $5.99 and $2.00-(half off). I got another pair for pictures tomorrow for $1.50. Got myself my face cream I love-(Not AT ALL FRUGAL)-at $8.88, but it's been about 3 months since I had it. Got another unfrugal thing, dd a card that fits her for $2.49, since she thinks she's a preteen at 6-LOL!!! Total was $30.98...a little much, but okay.

Got ear piecer for $5.99. Got a few extras for dd's birthday-new hair brush, hair bows, lip gloss and 42 piece plastic continers for dd's lunches, hair spray/moussee, large bag for dd's gifts and two curly bows for $15.

Had to spend alot but it was absolutely necessary. Everything I bought I needed, only the face cream, card, bag and bows did I not need but I thought it would be a great little extra for her birthday or to treat myself this once.

EAR PIECER-was $5.99 at Sally's Beauty Supply. I asked the lady if it could be used again, she said yes if you're careful. What it is, is that they have two little plastic parts that grip the earring. If you save those two you can use it again. I re-pierced dd's ears in just a second. It's for first time piercing and re-piercing. Well worth the $5.99. It came as sensitive skin with the studs already in it. I really liked it. Plus I saved about $10 by doing it myself.

Tomorrow dd has to have her hair styled for her picture which is only $10 or less. I am saving money by washing her hair myself tomorrow morning. I also found out I only need to put a $10 deposit down tomorrow for the pictures-COOL!! So, I'm putting down $25.

Came home mashed and fried the refried beans I made earlier. Made 3 bean burritoes, 2 beef and bean burritoes for dd's lunch. Frozen the rest of the refried beans to make later tortillas. Froze several bags of Apple Sauce from Bulk Can. Added a small amount of sugar because it was mostly sweetened already and cinnamon. Messed up a about 2 cups of it though, mistakenly poured chili powder in it-LOL!!! Will still use in a quick bread recipe.
