Hummm, something frugal today
Actually I was a naughty mommy, and spent more than I ever do. My kids needed it though, and we had fun. I'll tell you, my 11 year old did NOT get her love of shopping from me!
I took my three kids and let my dh keep my foster son (his mom is taking him school shopping over the weekend, and my gang really needed a break) We went to "Ryan's" for lunch. They liked being able to "let loose'. My dh is very ridgid at times .
From there we went to stores. Some to "window shop" like to "PETSMART" and others to get some school stuff"AC MOORES" and "WALMART". We started with $142.00. Spent $5.00 on gas, and $25.00 at the restraunt. I gave each kid $10.00 to use for whatever. STILL bought school supplies, underclothes, a "MUDD" book bag for my daughter, got my son's hair cut and co-paid my nephew/ foster son's medication. Would you guys call $142.00 on 3 kids fairly frugal? My daughter cracked me up at "WALMART". I had choosen a pack of undies for her and my 11 year old shopping queen says: "No way mom. That cost's $6.00 for 7 pair". You should have heard her voice.
I guess even if she is a "serious" shopper, she will be at least semi-frugal!
