Turkey Cupcakes
by Cake Works Central

turkey cupcakes This fun and festive recipe was brought to you by Holiday Fun With Cupcakes by April Johnson. Holiday Fun With Cupcakes focuses on creative ways to decorate the ever forgotten cupcake. These days Dads and Moms are busier and need quicker and easier ways to clean up and cupcakes are the way to go.

You will need

cupcakes in liners with a holiday design
buttercream icing
(tinted orange, brown, black and green)
almonds (sliced)
M&M candies
miniature chocolate chips

For the wings, place a cookie that has been cut into thirds into the back of the cupcake. Using tip 66 and buttercream tinted brown pipe the feathers onto the cookie. If you prefer, you can use almonds as feathers. Use some icing on the cookie to make them stick.

Using tip 12 pipe on the head. Use miniature chocolate chips for eyes. For the beak either use M&M's or tip 66 with buttercream icing tinted orange. Pipe in some leaves with tip 66 with the remainder of the orange and green.

This book gives you some fun, interesting ways to decorate cupcakes for many festive holidays. "The best thing about my book is it was created with parents and children in mind. I wanted to create something that would bring children and their parents back together..."

The cupcake designs in this book are designed to be decorated by both children and their parents. A great way to spend time with your family!
