  Patriotic Crispy Rice Star Sparklers

Kids will have fun waving these star sparklers to celebrate the 4th of July. Made from crispy rice cereal and gooey marshmallows, these all American treats will add a festive touch to your holiday table and provide a tasty dessert for after the picnic.

What You Need

6 C. crispy rice cereal
4 C. mini marshmallows or 40 lg. marshmallows
1/4 C. butter or margarine
small, medium & large star shaped cookie cutters
wooden skewers
white chocolate almond bark
red & blue paste food coloring
red, white & blue candy sprinkles
red, white & blue curling ribbon

Getting Ready

Cover table with a plastic table cloth, or even an old shower curtain.

Gather supplies and have everything ready at the work table and within reach.

Make sure that children use pot holders and have some handy wipes or a sink nearby to wash hands.
