  Chewy Chocolate Caramel Bites
by Tami Rose

Sweet-meets-salty in these delicious treats that even the littlest hands can help make. These make great gifts and party favors. Bag them up for a gift that your Valentine will surely love!

What You Need

60 square pretzels
13 oz. bag Rolo candies, unwrapped
60 M&M candies

What You Do

1. Spread out a single layer of pretzels on a baking sheet. Top with one Rolo per pretzel.

2. Bake at 200 degrees F for 3-4 minutes.

3. Remove from oven and top each Rolo with an M&M.

4. If you can resist eating them while they are warm... let cool for at least an hour on the counter before removing from the baking sheet. To speed up the process, set the tray in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until the candies are firm.

5. Store in a sealed container.

You can also make these in the microwave: Cover a microwave safe plate with a single layer of pretzels. Top with Rolos. Microwave on high for approx. 10 seconds and then top with M&Ms.

To cool, follow steps 4 & 5 from above.

To make candy "Turtle" bites: Top each Rolo with a pecan instead of an M&M.
