Back-to-School Party Decorations

Decorate the party area with stacks of books, large maps, and a globe. Hang streamers that match your partyware, or use primary colors like yellow, blue and red. Cover a table in white craft paper, and set out containers of crayons and markers. As guests arrive, let them draw on the craft paper, play word games like hangman, or hunt for words in a back-to-school word search.

Use a big bowl of apples as your centerpiece and surround the bowl with new pencils and cute erasers. Then, set the table with partyware that matches your theme. For another fun touch, put a pencil and eraser set at each place setting and let your guests take them home. Hang a colorful pinata that matches your theme.
