The Extreme Embellished Purse
Girls will love this purse! A great way to show young girls some basic sewing skills and help them create something of their very own.
You will need
Purse with a nice front flap
Trim of your choice*
Thread to match trim
Iron-on patches
* Measure around purse flap to find the length of trim needed.

What you do
Sew trim to underside of flap by hand or machine (use jean needle).
Using hot iron, press patches into place and let cool. Test to make sure entire patch is secure. Repeat if needed.
If patch has jewels or rhinestones on it, place pressing cloth over patch or iron from the back side.
