Crafted by Debbie Knechtel

Click here for a larger view
This is a great craft for little ones, perfect for day care situations or just for that 'I'm bored' kind of day. Make this cute little bunny in your classroom and take home to show Mom for Easter!

EDITOR'S NOTE: If you are not comfortable with using plastic knives around your kids, substitute plastic spoons instead.

You will need

2 white plastic knives
white pom pom( approx 1/2 in)
pink pom pom(approx 1/4 in)
2 wiggle eyes
black wire
pink ribbon
green ribbon

If you make this project we'd love to see it! Just send your photos and comments to the editor and it may get published on this page!

What you do

Hot glue the two plastic knives together forming a narrow X shape, serated edges pointing outwards.

Glue white pom pom where the 2 knives cross. Glue pink pom pom on for the nose.

Glue wiggle eyes on for eyes.

Using 2 small pieces of black wire bend in a v shape and glue on either side of the pink pom pom for whiskers.

Cut 2 pieces of pink ribbon and glue to tops of knives to make the inside of the ears.

Make a bow out of the other ribbon and glue it under the white pom pom.

And these 48 unique projects-engagingly displayed on colorful pages-prove there's more to paper art than just cutting out hearts. A special section starts kids off by introducing them to different papers and tools, while six technique-based chapters present imaginative possibilities for transforming everything from corrugated cardboard to vellum. Using collage, budding artists can create a Dream Travel Box. Young fashionistas will enjoy designing their own paper clothesline. Or they might fold a Book Necklace, make an origami Peace Crane, construct big beautiful Butterfly Wings for a costume party, even create a cool paper-mâché pig. Best of all, kids will learn how to turn their own crafty ideas into reality.
