  Patriotic Flip Flops - pg. 2

Now that your supplies are at the ready and your work surface has been prepared, let's begin!

What You Do

Glue blue stars to one of the white v-shaped strips that you cut out to cover the clear tops of the flip flops.

Glue the v-shaped white strip with blue stars to the v-shaped clear tops of the flip flops. Secure with clothespins to hold in place while the glue dries. flip flop instructions

For the other flip flop, glue the v-shaped white foam on to the clear tops of the flip flop first.

Wrap the red ribbon around the white tops creating a striped affect, gluing down as you go.

Secure the ribbon with clothespins to hold in place while the glue dries.


EDITOR'S NOTE: You can purchase star shaped foam pieces, some will even have adhesive backs, eliminating the use of the glue. However, self adhesives are not as strong as glue and may come off when walking around. Look for foam shapes that are not adhesive backed for this project.
