Now that your supplies are at the ready and your work surface has been prepared, let's begin making your Halloween mummy note holder!
What You Do
Paint the croft stick and the clothespin with white craft paint and set aside to dry.
Cut a bowtie and two small bats our of the black craft foam. Cut a small square from the orange craft foam and glue to the center of the bowtie. Set these aside for a later step.

Put a little brown paint onto a paper plate or paint pallette. Dip the tips of the paintbrush bristles into the brown paint and with a brushing motion, brush off as much excess paint as you can onto a paper towel.
Using a gentle sweeping motion, add a bit of brown across the front of the paint stick all the way up the stick. Repeat this method on the clothespin.
Use the pencil to lightly draw wavy lines onto the craft stick to look like the mummy's bandages.
Use black fine tip marker to draw on eyes and a mouth.
Glue the bowtie to the neck area, under the facial features.
Glue the clothespin to the middle of the craft stick.
Glue the bats toward the bottom of the craft stick. Glue them on at a slant, hanging over the side of the craft stick so that they appear to be flying.
Let all glued pieces dry completely before using.
Optional: Glue a magnet to the back and use on the refrigerator.
