by Tami Rose

These glittery snowflakes are sure to add some sparkle to your holidays. Make these fun and very easy window clings to hang in any room of the house. Or if you prefer, turn them into Christmas ornaments by hanging a hook off the string. Be sure to see all of our Christmas crafts!

What You Need

gold glitter glue
wax paper
pencil
needle
string or clear fishing line

If you make this project we'd love to see it! Just send your photos and comments to the editor and it may get published on our Facebook fan page!

What you do

Using a pencil, draw simple snowflake designs onto a piece of wax paper. Trace over each design with the glitter glue. Do not skimp with the glue. Nice, thick lines will ensure that the snowflake won't fall apart. Let dry completely-at least overnight. Gently peel the snowflakes from the paper. Once they have been peeled away from the paper, you might find that some of the glue is still wet underneath. If this is the case, simply lie flat and allow to finish drying.

To hang, use the needle threaded with fishing line to poke a hole through one of the ends on the snowflake. Tie the ends of the fishing line together and hang up.

These also make great package decorations or fun window clings by sticking them directly onto any window.

This craft is so easy that even young children can create their own masterpieces!
