Cut the chenille stems to desired size and bend to desired shape. The chenille stems should look somewhat like coral or seeweed. Stick chenille stems into the top of the tinfoil ball. They shouldn't stick up past the top of the top of the container.

water bracelet instructions Near the top of 1-3 of the chenille stems wrap chenille around a fish. If the chenille stem cannot support the fish use a tooth pick or a small stick to hold the stem up. You can also add tape around the base to hold the chenille stems up.

Cut another piece of aluminum foil and color it with the blue marker. Gently crumple into a 'rope' and fold around the ball of aluminum foil. If necessary glue or tape to the ball.

Tape or hot glue the flat side of the tinfoil ball to the center of the inside of the clear container.

Put a small amount of sand or small rocks around the outside of the aluminum foil. Add whatever you have such as sea shells, bigger rocks, marbles and beads to fill the remaining space.

Add a penny or plastic crab for an accent (optional).

EDITOR'S NOTE: The fish in this project were purchased from Oriental Trading Company, but you can check toy stores, dollar stores, gift shops and discount deparment stores. If you prefer, have your kids make their fish out of construction paper or craft foam.
