Wrap a sparkly pipe cleaner around a pencil. Pull out the pencil and bend
one end into a hook.
Framed Picture
Glue a small photograph of your child(ren) onto a piece of cardboard. Glue
new crayons around the edges for a frame. Add a ribbon hanger.
Reindeer Face
Hot-glue a brown pipe cleaner to the base of large colored Christmas light
bulb, in a "V" shape. Curl around a pencil to create antlers. Glue a tiny
bell into the center of the V. Glue on eyes and a red pom-pom nose. Add the
ribbon at the very end of the base of the bulb to hang.
Bead-Dazzling
Hot-glue clear or colored, flat-backed gems onto glass Christmas tree balls.
Create a pattern or glue them on randomly.
Mist glass ornaments with a spray adhesive and roll in glitter.
Using headed push pins, attach sequins to a Styrofoam ball. Add a loop of
ribbon at the top, for hanging
Fold a 2x2" piece of foil wrapping paper into a fan shape. Punch a hole in
one end and tie with ribbon to hang on the tree.
Fill clear glass ornaments with cinnamon, apple or pine potpourri, and hang
with a ribbon bow.
Spray paint mini pine cones in gold and hang upside-down from red curling
ribbon and tiny jingle bells.
Tightly wind metallic string around a Styrofoam ball.
Star Bright
Cut star shapes out of card board and felt. Glue felt onto card board piece.
Edge star with glued on sequins.
Candy Canes
Twist red and white pipe cleaners together, barber pole style. Hook one end
like a candy cane and hang on a tree limb.
Button Wreath
Cut a plastic lid into a doughnut shape (round with a hole in the middle).
Glue on green and white buttons and hang with a red bow.
Paint wooden stars with gold glitter or wooden bells with silver
glitter.
