Mini Bunny in a Pot

Spring Bunnies
Click here to see a larger view (will open in a new window)
This is an easy craft for children. No matter which pot you choose to make, head up or head down, these bunnies are simply adorable!

You will need:

Blue & pink felt
Pom-Poms
Mini clay pot
Google eyes (for bunny front side only)

If you make this project we'd love to see it! Just send your photos and comments to the editor and it may get published on this page!

What you do

For Bunny Back
Glue big Pom Pom to inside of clay pot rim. Glue medium Pom Pom on top of big Pom Pom for tail.

Cut feet out of blue felt, pads out of pink. Glue to feet to resemble pads.

Put glue on narrow end of feet and glue on either side of the body.

For Bunny Front
Glue big Pom Pom to inside of clay pot rim. Glue 2 medium Pom Poms on top of big Pom Pom at edge of rim for cheeks. Glue small pink or light brown Pom Pom for nose.

Glue google eyes on above nose as shown in picture.

Cut out ears and glue to rim or pot in between big Pom Pom and inside rim.

Editor's Note: You can of course alter the colors of the Pom Pom to fit your tastes. For example, use white Pom Poms for the cheeks and/or tail, or make this a pink or yellow bunny.
