Craft Supplies

Top : Kitchen and Home : Crafts : Seasons : Summer

  • Butterfly Candle Holders - Butterfly candle holders are easy to make and a great gift idea. The materials are very inexpensive, and you can use your imagination for a variety of designs.
  • Butterfly Garden Stake - Dress up your already beautiful garden with this lovely butterfly garden stake. make several for your own garden or give some as gifts!
  • Clay Pot Seashell Candle - This pot is truly quite lovely. You may choose to leave the body of the pot plain, or you can paint it a calming color such as light blue, peach, or cream. A sponged color over a white base would look very nice as well. A great way to dress up your nautical or seaside decor!
  • Color Burst Seed Balls - This bright and vibrant craft is a welcome addition to your summer table. You can make additional ornaments in colors for each season, then simply switch them out as the weather changes.
  • Decoupage Clay Flower Pot - Clay pots have always been a wonderful medium for crafts. This decoupage clay flower pot is no exception. This is an easy craft that can be done by just about anyone. You can paint the pot beforehand, or leave it in its original state as in the photos here. Makes a great gift!
  • Floral Address Plaque - Not a painter? Can't draw those lovely details you would like to? This project is for you!
  • Garden Gate - Usher in spring with this darling little craft. This little garden gate makes a great wall hanging, can be framed, or simply set it on a shelf.
  • Gone Swimming Beach Plaque - Make this pretty plaque and bring a little of the ocean's calm into your home. Gather sea shells, starfish, and some sand from your beach vacation this summer, and put together this lovely keepsake to hang on your wall.
  • Grapevine Ball - This project makes a beautiful centerpiece for any time of year. Simply change the floral colors to match the seasons! Simple to make and very few supplies are needed. Also makes a great gift!
  • Make a Yo Yo Bracelet - This is a great project for adults or teen girls. Yo-yo's aren't just for your grandma anymore! Turn these sweet little gathered fabric circles into a pretty bracelet for yourself or to give to a friend. Choose a fabric color that suits your personality and pull out your sewing needle.
  • More Than a Monogram - Monograms are hot. Everything has an initial or 3 on it, from toilet paper and tissues to baby bibs and glasses. I even saw a car with a monogram sicker on the back window. The monogramming business has been swift for the past few years, but the creativity can only go to the font and the color of your thread (or paint).
  • Mosaic Plant Stand - Dress up a plain wooden stool with colorful mosaic marbles. Easy and stylish, great for your garden decor.
  • Mosaic Tile Pot - This sunny pot will be a perfect accent to your kitchen or bathroom. Noone will ever guess you made it yourself!
  • Patriotic Address Sign - If you are looking for a unique way to show your patriotism, why not try some red, white and blue salt dough crafts?
  • Patriotic USA Box - This cute little box is not just reserved for the Fourth of July! It is perfect for Memorial Day, September 11th, or any day you feel like showing your patriotism!
  • Patriotic Welcome Star - Your front door looks so plain, why not dress it up with this fun and easy welcome star! Perfect for Fourth of July, Memorial Day or any day you want to show your patriotic spirit!
  • Pressed Flower Coaster - Preserve the vibrant colors of spring and adorn your coffee table with these lovely floral coasters. These can also be used for paperweights, or glue a manget to the back. Beautiful, however you choose to use them!
  • Ribbon Flower Frame - While this craft is too intricate for little fingers, it makes a great gift for a grown up to make for a little girl in their life.
  • Seashell Shore Wreath - This charming decoration is made from a twig wreath and seashells collected along the beach with a few added starfish from the store. "Vacationing on Cape Cod inspired me to create this shore wreath. It was simple and inexpensive to make. The white statice and silk stems added some additional texture to the wreath. I added a piece of fishnet to the back for a nautical feel."
  • Starfish Candle - This pretty candle is not only a refreshing addition to your decor, it's so simply you'll want to make more. Makes a lovely accent to a beach or nautical theme room!
  • Sunflower Crafts - Cheerful yellow sunflowers, accented with lemon leaves and pale yarrow, are the basis of these charming decorating accents. The whimsical hat, hung on a door or wall, adds the perfect country touch to a room; the coffeepot arrangement lets you carry the sunflower theme throughout the house.
  • Sunflower Jar - What says summer more than fresh sunflowers? Bring that feeling into your home with this lovely painted design, easy!
  • Victorian Door Posy - Here's a charming door bouquet that appears to be lighter than air and is made in a weekend, with time to spare. The lacy vase is a crocheted doily that's stiffened and shaped to form a pocket. The pocket holds a block of floral foam into which dried and silk flowers are arranged for an enchanting display.
  • Watermelon Picnic Caddy - Picnics, summertime, and watermelons, they go together well! Dress up your summertime picnic table with this darling watermelon caddy. Use it to hold napkins and utensils, or simply display its cuteness for all to see.
