Wisconsin Dells, in south-central Wisconsin, has been hailed the "Las Vegas" strip of water parks, hosting a variety of indoor and outdoor slides, rides, and good, clean family fun. It doesn't matter if it's the middle of summer or the dead of winter, visiting a water park provides splashing family entertainment all year long.
He's red, cute, cuddly and furry and although he is a monster, he has managed to capture your little one's heart. Yes, many of us have children who are in love with Elmo! And since he lives on Sesame Street, an educational program that many of us also grew up with, it's hard not to love him back. As I watched my children laugh and clap at their first live performance of Sesame Street Live, I knew where we needed to go for their first theme park experience - Sesame Place.
On a recent summer weekend we packed up our family of four for a special road trip to what we have learned to be a childhood rite of passage in New England, Story Land, a children's theme park in Glen, New Hampshire.

This city was recently recognized by a national magazine as the "Best Bang-for-the-Buck" City so for families on a budget (and who isn't?) Omaha is a good option. With a moderate climate and a central location to much of the Midwest, consider Omaha when creating your family's summer vacation plans.

If you are looking for a waterpark resort that offers plenty to do for all age groups, it's high time that you paid a visit to Wilderness Resort. We had the pleasure of visiting The Wilderness in Wisconsin Dells, a once small town with a couple go-cart tracks and one outdoor waterpark. That has all changed now with the explosion of waterpark hotels in the past 10-15 years.
