| Kids can make pictures to hang in their rooms by gluing a coloring page to a piece of colored construction paper, then add texture to create a 3-D look. | | | Add glue to some sections (i.e. hat, flower, etc) and sprinkle glitter on top. Glue on wiggle eyes to faces, add feathers to hats or clothing. You can even cut out felt belts, shoes... anything to create texture. You can add more texture by covering an area with glue, sprinkle with regular table salt, and allow to dry. When dry lightly color over it with a marker. Just these little touches brings the pictures to life. Don't add too many extras to the paper as it will be too heavy to hang up! (Thanks to "ajrsmomn" from our message boards for this great tip!) |
