What To Do With Ham
by Brenda Hyde
We tend to think of a whole boneless
ham as a holiday meat. But it can be a real money saver and a lower fat meat
for your family. You can get whole hams for anywhere from $1.89 to as low
as $1.00 a pound if you really watch the sales. Almost all grocery stores
will shave or slice it for you. I have included recipes that use diced ham.
I usually have the store slice half, and shave half. The savings over buying
deli ham is incredible. It's the same ham and often better! In addition to
these recipes you can serve grilled ham and cheese or make your own subs.
